This wedding had a personal element to it, for us. We've known Samantha and Chase for some time now and we've gotten to know them well. They're such a sweet couple who would do anything for you. So, it was our pleasure to be involved in their wedding day, to document all the tears and laughter.
This venue, which we loved by the way, was new to us so a pre-scouting trip was a necessity for us. We met up ahead of the wedding date and did a hike not only on the property where the wedding took place, but also a nearby Bruce Trail section. This adjacent trail was a gold mine for us, location wise. We got some great light for shooting the day of the wedding and took advantage of it. The hike wasn't too far for everyone in their wedding attire, so it was perfect! The Forks of the Credit Inn is an excellent choice for couples wanting a rustic, intimate environment both in the Inn itself, as well as on the grounds outdoors.
We knew a lot of the guests which actually made for some great candid photos and goofball moments, aka ass-grabbing LOL. There was also an abundance of touching and special moments sprinkled into the reception as well. Which included a special little lady's birthday song/dance. Glad you had a memorable birthday weekend, Skye! We enjoyed ourselves as well, getting to catch up with friends and meeting new ones.
Samantha and Chase, we wish you all the best in your future together! Love you guys :)
