For Chris and Tessa's wedding at the top of the Living Waters Hotel, the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Clear skies and a nice breeze by the waterfront made it pleasant for everyone involved. This was our first rooftop ceremony at this venue, and it didn't disappoint with it's views of the nearby docks, boats and the blue waters of Georgian Bay.
A key element to their day was FAMILY. We saw that not just in the details, such as a special photo of Tessa's deceased father placed by the ceremony arbour, but in the many moments throughout the day. This also included a tear filled moment with Chris's grandmother getting presented flowers at the reception and everyone being joyful she could attend in person. Not to be overlooked as well, was the coming addition of Chris and Tessa's daughter in a few short months. It was so heartwarming to feel and see the outpouring of emotions during the day.
Lucky for us, we were able to move around to various locations on the property, with the wedding party, for photos. This even included a short pit stop for "shots" at the Lakeside Seafood and Grill. The boys even enjoyed some cigars afterward.
We capped off our coverage of the day at the reception, with some dance photos. This included special dances for Tessa with the important men in her life. There were certainly some tears shed as she danced with her brother, in lieu of the father/daughter dance.
We wish nothing but the best for this awesome couple. Can't wait to hear about the next milestone for them as a couple: becoming parents.
