Matt and Courtney are a wedding couple that we really connected with leading up to their wedding. We first met them at the Living Waters Resort Wedding Open House in 2018, we also saw them the following year at the same show. If you include their engagement photos session at a horse farm and several other conversations, we feel like we really got to know them. So, when the big day finally arrived we had such a great vibe walking into their respective hotel rooms to begin our photography coverage.
We switched things up a little this time in terms of our wedding day schedule by starting with the guys first. They were a blast to photograph and had plenty of goofy moments with one another. Living Stone Hotel made for an excellent environment for the "guy pics" in the lobby and restaurant (the restaurant hadn't opened yet). Then, it was off to Living Waters Hotel to hang out with the ladies in their room before heading up to the rooftop for a first look with Courtney and her Dad.
There was hardly a cloud in the sky, they couldn't have asked for a nicer day for the outdoor ceremony by the waterfront! Part of Courtney's photos wish list was to do sunset pics and we were so glad that we could. We try to encourage all of our couples to pop out from the reception, just for 10 minutes with us, to take advantage of the late day sun. The wedding day goes by so quickly that it's a nice way to just be alone (along with us of course LOL) and to really appreciate being a newly married couple as we snap a few pics.
Best wishes to both of you and your son, in your future together!
