For as long as we can remember we've always admired the architecture of the Prime Seven Nine restaurant and it's been on our bucket list to photograph. Jess and John's wedding in Collingwood, Ontario, gave us that opportunity. The venue is so unique and holds so much charm and beauty. So, it wasn't a surprise that the staff and management were top notch as well!
For a ceremony, our happy couple chose the stone Shipyards Amphitheatre which overlooks the scenic Georgian Bay waterfront. The recent heat wave we'd been having in southern Ontario had subsided, leaving us with the perfect day time temperature for September and plenty of blue skies. While we were over at Sunset Point (after the nuptials) shooting some more couple's portraits, we learned a really cool tidbit of info. The car they were being chauffeured around in, a '69 Chevy Nova, had been originally purchased new and owned for it's entirety by John's mom. So, his mom was very heart-warmed to know that it would be an important part of their wedding day.
