Kelsey and Sean's wedding brought with it a weekend road trip adventure to northern Ontario. It's been a real treat getting more work and play up that way and we really hope it continues. The landscapes and terrain are incredible and lovely to photograph!
The wedding day started at Kelsey's family home with a secret garden "first look" for our wedding couple to be. It was very touching as family looked on and a few happy tears were shed. Touching moments are what we cherish when it comes to snapping candid photos. Bellevue Park was our next stop for family and wedding party photos. Carrying on a family tradition, in between formal photos, the group ran in and out of the frame as we focused on the couple. It was a cool twist. The park itself offered us a wide array of great locations for photography.
Finally, we made our way to the Waterfront Adventure Centre for their ceremony and reception. What a fantastic and unique venue for a wedding gathering. We were literally at the edge of the waterfront on the patio, where the ceremony was held and guests later hung out. We were stoked to find out that we were photographing the very first wedding hosted there. Oh, and the food... the food! It was to die for. No one went hungry, that's for sure! Thanks to Jiggs and Reels Catering Co. as well as Ice Cream Bar Co. for the amazing eats!
Kelsey and Sean, we had such a fabulous time celebrating your day with your family and friends. We hope you had a wonderful time on your camping trip honeymoon!
