From the beginning, Sam and Susan had a very clear vision for their wedding. They wanted it to be super original and reflect their interests and taste. The Alice In Wonderland/ Mad Hatter theme truly came to life and the Livery Theatre in Goderich, Ontario was the perfect setting to achieve this. 

A LOT of effort was put into the decor (as you can see from the pics) and it wasn't easy to coordinate and execute the layout and vision, but in the end it all tied together and made for a great ceremony!

Goderich is one of those small Ontario towns you visit and wonder why it's taken so long? The historic architecture and beautiful waterfront make it wonderfully scenic. It was so easy for us to scout some amazing locations for photos. Even the Bedford Hotel, where the boys got ready, is a richly historical building in it's own right.

We got the opportunity to drive around, just with Sam and Susan, to capture couple's photos at various spots in town. The late day light was perfect! It's rare that we get the opportunity to spend almost two hours with just the bride and groom shooting romantic photos. We just hopped in their car and made stops wherever we felt were great spots. It was the perfect time to reflect on the day and watch the Lake Huron sun set slowly in the warm, summer air. A truly enjoyable way to end a wedding day.
