This wedding was a huge honour for us. Let me explain: Evan and Andrea had a very specific vision for the ceremony portion of their wedding day. They wanted to shuffle the "normal" schedule usually followed. Their emphasis was on an evening ceremony to be lit by candles and torches. So it was really important for them to find a photographer who could mesh with that vision and be able to capture the essence of their vows, with minimal intrusion. So, we were honoured that they put their faith in us that we could accomplish this for them.
It was a refreshing change to get all the family, wedding party, first look and decor pics before the ceremony even occurred. This really created a chill atmosphere for everyone. The day included outdoor games, wandering through the forest (and avoiding poison ivy LOL), drinks at the tent bar and hay bale couches if you needed to relax.
We loved the rural property it was held on - thanks to friends of their family for hosting it! The property is nestled just outside of the east end of Stayner. Many people in attendance complimented the owner on the beauty of the property and suggested weddings as a future business. Hint, hint :)
