In the week leading up to Drew and Claire's wedding at the Toronto Ski Club in Collingwood, Ontario the weather forecast could be summed up in one word: stormy. So, we kept on checking our weather app daily and crossing our fingers. Luckily it got better and better as the week progressed. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and it was blue skies and hot!
All of the planning, decor and preparation came together beautifully. We started the day at the Westin Trillium, at Blue Mountain. Much to our wonderful surprise Yeticon 2018 was taking place at the same time at Blue Mountain. A bunch of the participants gladly posed with Claire and her girls when we asked. What a fun addition to a great day. We had a chance to walk around the grounds with the girls and snap a few pics along the boardwalk before heading to the ceremony.
It was important for Drew and Claire for everyone to have a great time, including their beloved dog Fred. Fred definitely loved the spotlight.
We can't say enough about how much we loved the colour choices. The dresses, the suits, floral, decor, invitations, etc. The colours really popped and complemented each other wonderfully.
I think we've started a new tradition this year in ending the day with intimate couples photos, lit by the fading sunset.
