Once we booked this beautiful micro wedding at a family cottage in Little Current, Ontario, we decided to turn it into a road trip weekend adventure to Manitoulin Island. With each visit, we are falling more and more in love with the island! From these photos it's easy to see why. 

Sarah and Derek held an intimate gathering at their parents' cottage. The ceremony was held near the waterfront followed by some fun family photos. Sarah and Derek allotted us a dedicated chunk of time just for their couple's photos and we ran with this! The entry lane to drive in was surrounded by some really neat looking and scenic fields. Tall grass, short rooted cedar bushes and rocks all bordered by a majestic tree line. We had a great time as we chatted with them in between photography spots. Once back at the cottage we were able to capture a few more candid photos of games, drinks and laughter. We can't say enough about how warm and friendly everyone there was, and we hope our return to the island comes sooner rather than later.
